1) I'm not librety to give you information on this timepiece if i choose to do so it will not be on a open forum like this, we just had a guy get scammed here on TRF and after reading some of the post here i'm not to sure if someone may try to do harm to me with the economy being the way it is "please don't hold your breath"

2) it was my mistake to even put a post out here like this with me" being a newbie and all "suddenely your purchasing a watch of this magnitude dosen't sit well with someone who just lost thier job or home or someone who is on the brink of losing both.

Let's face it not to many pepole like myself are very well liked these days!
All that really matters is that i know i own one , and as i stated before i would not believe it either!

And under the advice of my consul i will not be posting pics of the piece.

To all that feel offended , confused and disarrayed i apoligize....

Words like NIGERIA, PATEK and AUTHENTIC all in one sentence?

Hey JJ, Chilvary, I mean Deserted bought it...

I mean what's a little unknown Margarita guy like me to do in an economic downturn... I had to flip at least one of my watches.

Besides I had such utmost faith in Eghosa Aduwa that I felt no need to have the piece authenticated.

I'm in

And for a fair price I can supply one. Eghosa Aduwa actually gave me quite the deal, a buy one get one free deal

Now that Chilvary, I mean Deserted has bought the first one, it's ALL gravy from here

Heck, I might even donate it if I like the cause...

If my nose flashes .... I'm lookin' in.

Don't write Sean off yet.

I've got the feeling that there may be a twist in the tale and that wrist shots will eventually be shown.

Perhaps; perhaps not.

Even if wrist shots were eventually forthcoming, against strong legal advice of his consul (sic), and assuming genuine wrist shots which are actually his, not sure how that explains his 1999 platinum Sky Moon Tourbillon when the watch itself came into existence three years later, with the platinum version coming later still.

Still, all good fun. Certainly provided me with some comic relief.

Not being familiar with PP, is it not possible that prototypes were constructed in advance of the official release year for the watch , ie. "shadow pieces" I know Panerai has been known to do this, it makes sense that PP would as well. These pieces go to high-ranking VIPs and company exec's, who occasionally and discreetly trade them around. BTW, Ft. Wayne, IN suggests that maybe Sean is in the insurance biz'.

If I'm wrong, so be it. But like Paul, I'm not ready to write Sean's version off yet.

And, FWIW, I've never seen a "Non-Rolex Watch Forum" thread go to 6 pages this fast, so at least we've had some fun on a boring post-Christmas Sunday, so my hat's off to Sean for that anyway !

Is this thread still going on ?

Guys, it was funny but I think I gave enough reasons to believe this Patek story is Bullshit ( the watch is from 1999 and they did not make the 5002 in 1999 + I googled that patek reference he uses in his profile and they only thing I saw was a link to terrible fakes)

And Ducatidoc, Patek is the most respectable manufacture out there, they don't deliver some pieces 3 years before they introduce it into the market

Another thing, I looked at his older posts and noticed he only has 2 Rolexes he talks about. Being a GMT and a Daytona
Nothing wrong with these 2 watches but do you really thing a guy with two simple Rolexes buys a 1 million dollar Patek ?

You wanne see even stranger things ?

This is one of his older posts (about the daytona)

http://www.rolexforums.com/showthread.php?t=91984

He thinks it is a Z-series. Guys the Z is from around 2007 while the Daytona in the picture is definitely a Zenith based daytona so made before 2000.

Now look at the GMT ...
See the not SEL- links ...

Than look at this other picture he posted

http://www.rolexforums.com/showthread.php?t=97515

OOPS, now we have SEL
so this is NOT the same watch ...

Sean, (if this is your name) I don't care if you have a ROlex or not, it doesn't make you important or not. It's just a watch
But I'm almost sure you just took these pictures from the net and you post a lot of BS here

Not arguing re: PP's respectability. Shadows are prototypes, that are specifically not intended to be introduced into the market. Wouldn't you think PP has, at one time or another, built a prototype ? And then, what happens to them ? It happens with PAMs, and I don't think anyone would describe O-P as disreputable.

Just sayin'.

I'm going to reiterate my original question. If the watch is in fact a platinum 5002P, then why the stock photo of the gold cased 5002J?

If I'd just acquired a $1M+ watch, I'm pretty sure I'd have pix of the correct model. Lots and lots of pix.

And what reason does your attorney give you to not post a pic????

That is just absurd!

Sorry but something seriously smells fishy around here.
