SMPc accuracy questions

Hi all,
My new SMPc 41, blue dial, bond, is about two months old. The watch initially ran at about +4.2-+5.0 second per day, which I was fine with of course. Within specs. Now into my third month, it seems to be running even better, at +2.2 second per day. Which I am super happy with. I want to say I AM NOT COMPLAINING! I just some questions.. should a brand new watch vary this much within the first 2 months? Most watches I have owned, Rolex, usually stay pretty solid at one deviation for a long time. Again, just curious to ask some other experts their thoughts. Thanks and cheers to Friday.

It depends on a lot of factors...wear pattern and positions...if it's running that well no more or less consistently I'd definitely be satisfied. Enjoy in good health.

people dispute this but the automatics I've bought new requied a little break-in time and after about three months were really in perfect time keeping shape.

Exactly this. Just like anything mechanical, a certain break-in period is necessary.
