Rubber B on a Due?
Hey everyone,
I am getting married in a couple months and I purchased a 944 as a present to myself. She gets a ring, and I get my first Panerai :) The watch will probably stay on its leather strap -- the dark brown with the contrast stitching. But part of me wants to give it a go on a rubber strap, and specifically a Rubber B or Horus with its fitted ends. Does anyone know if the fitted ends of the Rubber Bs will fit with the thinner case of a Due? I doubt it, but was curious if anyone has experience with it. |

I do not recommend Horus or Rubber B for Panerai. I’d stick with the OEM accordion rubber. They’re some of the best rubber straps made.

the only rubberBs that will fit on a Due are the straight-cut ones (i.e. swimskin or ballistic). The fitted end ones are designed for the thicker and more traditional Luminor or 1950 cases.
I do have a swimskin one on a Due - as below. looks very similar to an OEM alligator strap, but it's waterproof. (not that this particularly matters, given most Dues won't be submerged in water...) ![]() since we're on the topic of rubberB, here's a pic with them on some 44mm PAMs ![]() |

Thanks for the input. I was hoping for something with the curved/fitted end(links). The Dues, and specifically the 944, are a tad more svelte than most Panerai, and the curved/fitted ends typical of the Rubber B seem more appropriate. But I'll probably give the OEM, that are not curved/fitted, a try as there seems to be no alternatives.
