About to join the Paneristi

This Sunday I am due to collect a 44mm PAM00915 (the 8 day manual wind), before the impending price increase on 1st May.

Anything I should know before I pull the trigger?

Yes, you should be aware that this will not be your last Panerai! They are quite addictive and will take all the wrist time from the remainder of the collection.....You've been warned!

This, plus nothing ever else feels like a Panerai. And you’ll buy loads of straps. Loads & loads.

I just bought this exact model a few weeks ago, and I love it.

Congratulations! You motivated me to buy a 915 today. They held the old price. Beautiful watch.

I ordered the Scamosciato Blu Profundo from Panerai, and I love it. But honestly I think any strap will work with it.

Mine is about 6 weeks old and it seems to run about 10 seconds fast per day.
I've tried winding different ways including like 20 turns each morning or lots of turns and let it go for a week and it seems to be about 7-10 fast no matter what I do.
Still experimenting.
It doesn't bother me like it would if it were an automatic watch.
