Is 41 MM Royal Oak too big on 6.75 wrist? Please share any wrist shots
Please share your wrist shots of 41MM Royal Oaks (15400, 15500 and 15510), especially on wrists of 7 inches or less. Curious if it looks too big on wrist of about 6.75

Wrist shots show nothing in my opinion. It all depends on your body/scale. Whenever I look at a new piece at AP my sa insists I go to a full body mirror and look cause on the wrist watches typically just looks bigger. You really need the scale with your body to see if it works. Furthermore, some people have wide wrist tables. Other fat wrists with small tables. It’s all so personal. Just try one on. That being said here’s a 41 chrono on my wrist that is about 6.5 inches. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Here a 15510 on my wrist that’s closer in size to 6” than it is to 7”. The bracelet isn’t sized to me as I tried the watch on at AP House London.
I’m sure some will say it looks way too big, but to me I prefer it to the 15550 37mm size and hope to get offered the opportunity to purchase one hopefully this year. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

All a matter of preference at the end of the day
However yes, I'd say 41mm ROs are FAR too big on less than a 7 inch wrist The thing these photos never show you is the down-the-barrel shot, showing just how much the lugs hang over the ends of the wrist. Things start to look ridiculous when you look at those kinds of photos, or better yet try one for yourself |

If you are taking a wrist shot from top down- 41mm will appear too big. I have a 6.6 inch flat wrist and the 41mm fits great for a more sporty vibe. I feel the 39mm better for dressy and 36mm for discrete wear. There is a reason why they put mirrors in watch stores.
They all fit, 36mm a tad small. I am 6 foot 1, 210lbs. I think my hands and body also play a role here. 41mm 41mm 39mm 36mm 41mm 36mm 41mm Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

IMO 41mm is too big for a RO for wrists <7inches. I have 6.75 inches and find the 38mm ROC fits best, followed by the Jumbo, then the 37mm.

AP RO 15500ST Ruthenium Dial 41mm hugging my 6.25 inches wrist. IMO this model hugs my wrist better than the 39mm 15202.

Most people wear RO too big for their wrist, but buying a Jumbo is not that easy and the 37mm scares some people.
Most with wrists under 18cms would be better with the 37 than the 41mm. |

Again OP, don't take this decision lightly until you've actually seen down-the-barrel shots (looking down the arm showing the watch side on) showing how much the 41 overhangs on smaller wrists
It's no good seeing 50x topdown photos using lens compression alone to help answer your question |

Thanks Everyone! How long has 15500 in Blue was produced? 2019 to 2022? I know many people love the blue, but is it because of”more limited “ production? Thanks

I don't think there's much evidence for one 15500 color being much rarer than the others. E.g., the number of blue vs grey vs white/silver 15500STs on C24 is the ~same. Black seems a bit more prevalent.

Yes and it will wear larger than 41mm. The thin bezel and large face make the newer RO’s wear even larger in my opinion.

41mm on exactly 6.75". 2nd photo is vs a 38mm ROC. I much prefer the 38mm and 39mm on my wrist with the 39mm being perfect.

No wrist shot here but like others, I do feel that the 41mm is too large for my 6.75" wrist. I tried a 15400 on back in 2016 when they were lying around readily available and it was enough for me to say no thank you and went for the Hulk instead. Even as a PAM wearer back then, I felt the 15400 was far too large.
I think the 39mm fits me best and here's my 15300 wrist shot for comparison.

41mm AP looks quite silly on most. It looks like a cuff on most men

Here was my 15400, just too big. My wrist is 7” for reference. Oddly enough I do wear a 42mm offshore diver which wears smaller in my opinion as the dial is smaller. I think the 15500 went even further with this with a thinner bezel, now it looks even larger.

That thinner bezel does make the dial seem gigantic, and thus the watch itself. How many times have we seen this though with busy vs. sterile dials? The Daytona can look small because of everything going on with the dial, even at 40mm.

Looks fine to me, I wear a 42mm Offshore on my 6.5 inch wrist, dial and bezel aren’t that big so I think it looks good
