Tissot PRX "ice blue" dial

I thought about purchasing one when they were first available but decided to order one through my AD.

I logged interest at a second AD over the weekend. Today, he called and said they received 10 and they pretty much immediate sold out. He put one aside for me, I paid, and I’ll go pick it up soon.

Yes! as a self proclaimed collector of haute horology, I can't resist and indeed got excited when I got an email today from Tissot for availability. When I first clicked purchase, the website crashed due to traffic. I decided to get this one while waiting for the steel 222. I finally saw it in person and I am like what the hell, $700 only!?

It will arrive in 2 days, lol!

I had not seen one in person, but pulled the trigger sight unseen. I will say the value in a PRX is insane, and the ice blue waffle dial makes for an absolutely stunning watch. Factor in the price and it's a home run for sure.

I did the exact same. It really catches the light.

A younger guy was also buying a Tissot at the same time. I asked what he got, and he said the dark blue with a black rubber strap. Looks like a sharp combination. I hope to so does a dark blue strap as well. I’ll definitely order one if they do.

I know there are some aftermarket options, but I don’t want to spend that much on a strap for this watch.

I was in France last week and, surprisingly (to me), there were Tissot boutiques and ADs EVERYWHERE. I went into 6 or 8 of them and, of all of them, only one had this dial in their display case and there was a sign next to it that it was sold, but could be ordered. Looks like Tissot has a hot ticket on their hands if they don't flood the market.
