Gap on AP bracelet. Is this normal?
Hi guys, first AP and couldn’t find much out there on this. Is it normal to have a gap between the clasp, where it reads “AP” and the link above? There’s also the slightest bit of play when I press on the top part of the AP. Here are some pics:
Judging from a few wrist roll videos, it looks like some have them and some don’t. But this is a brand new watch and wondering this is OK. Thanks all |

Looks a bit odd tbh - mine sits totally flush...
Sorry can't help any further but may want to get it checked out |

Definitely odd, I've no idea why the segment with the AP logo is sitting so weird

This is mine, I didn’t notice the gap until around a month after I bought it. I sent photos to AP House and they sent me a quick video of a new unworn 15510 that was exactly the same. Camera phones make it look much worse than it is irl. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Smaller gap than yours, but it’s there.

Hm, the big issue to me is that on yours the gap looks uneven side to side. That seems a QC fail even if a bit of a gap is ok, it should be aligned correctly and not wonky.

I just checked my 15202 and it has the same gap. Never noticed it before this thread!

Normal. Depends how it’s sitting on my wrist. I would not worry about it.

Here's mine. Looks flusher but maybe it's just regular wear / slack

Gap on AP bracelet. Is this normal?
I would definitely get that checked out by AP if that is new, seems the butterfly closure isn’t aligned properly.

Not sure about the gap, but my 50th 37mm also had the wiggly ap piece. They fixed it free of charge in a week or two. Id take it in. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Did you have to send it in or did the in-house watch tech handle it? |

The gap doesn’t look that bad honestly.
But the AP piece still is moving around if I press on it. Does your guys’ do the same? |

I have a very round wrist and have a tiny gap I never noticed before this thread. I will now proceed to forget about it haha. |

Both of mine (15400 with the older 1220 bracelet, and 26240 with the new 1320 bracelet) are the same. The AP piece is very slightly tighter on the 26240, but neither one is loose enough to be concerning for me. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
