Guys,

I really love the look of the Ceramic Diver but I have fears about cracking the case and/or chipping the ceramic. I've seen a few ceramic bezels on here that have chips in them. Where SS can be buffed out, ceramic requires replacement. Please chime in if you have had a ceramic piece from AP chip on you.

mine did not chip but there were some defects on it for my fc diver. Luckily warranty covered it. But just to highlight, the cost to replace it was a staggering sgd$4000

The sheen on the bezel was not even. At certain angles, it reflects light differently. Not easy to spot. But kudos to AP for acknowledging that its a manufacturing defect after 1 year. :D

Tho would fixing this, they screwed up my movement and it had to go in yet again after getting it back. They told me that the oil dried up. How it got dried up with jus a bezel change, that was beyond me tho haha.

I've had 44mm FC and SS and currently have the all ceramic diver. Never had an issue with any of them..granted, I didn't beat them up but was definitely more confident than with the SS bezels.

The 44s took some shots on wall corners without issue...to the watch anyway. Sometimes the walls would be marked.

I have chips you can barely see. Mine has been worn everyday for almost 3 years. Here's the thing I can swollen eventually changing the bezel but the case is 6 thousand plus on ceramic. So it's a catch 22 I rather take cancel with ceramic becouse I would be getting my ss bezel polished once a year at least becouse it would drive me nuts.
