Hey guys,

Help me choose based on value retention, overall look of the watch, which watch would stand out more..things like that..

Rolex Daytona Ceramic in Oysterflex in ---->

1.) Yellow Gold, Neo Paul Newman Dial

OR

2.) Rose Gold, Black Dial

That is a tough one! I don’t have any input based on value, but I’ve been on a rose gold kick lately, and it looks awesome with the two-tone face and oysterflex bracelet.

How light or dark is your skin? I'm fairly pale, so I don't think RG looks great on me. I have an Indian friend and I think RG looks great on him. YG looks good on everyone, but I think blondes look better with WG.

I prefer the rose gold over the yellow, but if you want value retention/increase i'd say go for the white gold

How about choosing based on how much *you* like it? A rather old fashioned method but the results might surprise you!

Seriously though, after considering opinions, give it some thought and choose the watch that makes you happiest.

Quite. I don't think these will hold value well. A bracelet costs more initially, but in the longer run it could be cheaper. Daytona was always designed for the bracelet. The strap versions could go the way of two-tones.

Can’t stand that ugly yellow color on the sub dials so it’ll have to be RG for me. Although personally wouldn’t buy either one.

I have owned both the YG and RG models of the Daytona on a bracelet and the RG is great to look at in pictures and even at the AD. The RG is difficult to match to skin tone as it did not look as good on me as YG, WG or Platinum. The second hand market is also difficult on the RG as there are fewer buyers. I would go YG on a bracelet and add the strap later. Good luck.

i'm an asian dude so i guess yellow skin tone..
no doubt the RG would look more classy but the contrasting dial on the paul newman though..
still torn between the 2 haha
