How are Rolex Submariner Bezels Made?
Out of curiosity, does anyone know how Submariner bezels are manufactured. Specifically, how are the notches/facets cut into the bezel? I doubt if they cut them one at a time? But, if they are all cut with a machine, you would need to adjust for the different size bezels.

I imagine that the high speed milling machines that Rolex uses can cut the facets into the bezel in seconds - even if it is one-at-a-time.

Bezels are made of stainless steel and easily welded, although it would take some talent to refinish it to like-new looks.
New bezels for 70's Subs are available at the Service Center.
