You will probably get phoned the day after you already made a huge capital commitment. Strange you like the 5131 as you font do dress watches (apart from the new voutilainen) and you don't care much for Worldtimes!!!

There is some irony that you get a Chinese piece considering you are Taiwanese!!! Look forward to the pictures - sure it will be very tasteful

Though accuracy of a timepiece is not particularly high on my list of watch priorities, unless it is gaining or loosing a substantial amount.
I do like to know that it is keeping within the specifications laid down by the manufacturer.
So for since collecting the 5167A, I have checked it on a daily basis. And found that its loosing 5-7 seconds per day. Not a huge issue in the grand scale of things.

1) Should the watch already be regulated to what Patek Philippe set it too.

2) Or being a new timepiece, does it still require a few weeks to settle/bed down like a new car engine.

Previously with both Patek & Rolex models, I have found their accuracy to be pretty spot on from the word go.

So, should I leave it a bit longer and see whether it settles now to what is considered the norm or ask for the timing to be regulated?

Many thanks

Last time I checked my 5167 it was less than a second off after 3 days. I was impressed.
