Though accuracy of a timepiece is not particularly high on my list of watch priorities, unless it is gaining or loosing a substantial amount.
I do like to know that it is keeping within the specifications laid down by the manufacturer. So for since collecting the 5167A, I have checked it on a daily basis. And found that its loosing 5-7 seconds per day. Not a huge issue in the grand scale of things. 1) Should the watch already be regulated to what Patek Philippe set it too. 2) Or being a new timepiece, does it still require a few weeks to settle/bed down like a new car engine. Previously with both Patek & Rolex models, I have found their accuracy to be pretty spot on from the word go. So, should I leave it a bit longer and see whether it settles now to what is considered the norm or ask for the timing to be regulated? Many thanks
