2531.80 Back From Modification
I received my 2531.80.00 back this morning from Steve at Ryte Time. It has gone through a few changes since I purchased it in April of last year.
It looked like this when I first received it: (note the ding on the bezel at 55-56 mins) The first thing I did was purchase a "Bond" 1503.825 bracelet: I then had it serviced and later had a new bezel fitted. I really preferred the 2254.50.00 but did not have the funds to buy another watch, so I had Steve fit the following parts for me:
I did ask Steve to supply and fit a PO 42mm seconds hand, but delivery of the hand was adding to the length of time my watch had been away, (24th of November) So I just went with the (SMP 2230.50.00) seconds hand. Now all I have to do is wait on the 20mm rubber strap (OME-98000037) to arrive from the East Coast FD. Brian (One happy camper)

wonderful job...may I just inquire how much all the mods (parts+their installation) cost you?...you made a modern watch into a classic...and the whole job has been very well done indeed
2230 is a classic ;)...and the best part: you finally have what you really want wishing you many healthy years with it regards, Asad. |

The parts were bought in November last year for £298.10, and the work and return delivery cost £48. Total £346.10.
If I want to change to the following models:
Brian
