Omega Boutique Response to Snoopy Inquiry

I see that you are very interested in the timepiece, the only way for you to be able to obtain one is if you are a VIP of ours. Your transaction history would be 100k and the benefit of becoming a VIP client is that you will be notified of future special releases and invited to exclusive events. Please let me know if you would also like me to check for availability of the timepieces your wife is interested in.

I got one for buying a Diver 300 on rubber at the same time. That response seems crazy.

I could live with that, it’s not an unrealistic ask. 100k is just stupid. You can by on the secondary market for 17-19k

You could save the 100K and spend just a few bucks over RRP plus tax by calling Takuya watches and/or others.

Yes buy second hand, but Takuya and the others are now some of the most expensive dealers out there. The forum is no longer the best place to buy.

Back on topic, how the heck would you be able to spend 100k at an OB? That's easily more than a dozen watches. Just buy one second hand

What country is your AD in?

BNIB on the secondary market is around $15500-$15900.

I stopped by the local Omega boutique just before Christmas and they're still asking me to spend 50-60K to get a Snoopy... that's only half of your ask!

Can you imagine how much unneeded junk you have to buy for 100k.

I am surprised at that, it’s not how they operate in the UK.

Buy grey, sit tight for the discontinue in 2024 and watch the action with a smile on your face.

I was told the same thing back in Spring of ‘22 when I bought my Speedmaster Moonphase from the OB in San Francisco. At that time they were trading in the upper $20k range. Was told the list was fully committed, but if they had a VIP client with 100k+ in spend the list goes out the window and I could have a Snoopy, a 321, or anything else I wanted. Omega makes some cool pieces but I’d have trouble spending $100k on just Omega.

Lots of ADs in Asia are bundling the Snoopy. 100k is ridiculous.

Best of luck to you and happy new year!

There isn’t 100k worth of items to buy from Omega unless your going PM, who needs 10-15 Shia seamasters, speedmasters or aqua Terra’s

100 + ks for a novelty piece.
Then one has to try and onsell what's surplus to needs to claw back their position.
And it's still only a novelty piece

That's an awful lot of $ that could be spent on anything and get way more satisfaction.

At least you got a response lmao. Every place I’ve asked for the snoopy it’s either just “the list is closed” (aka F off) or “it would be very difficult to get one” (aka drop big bucks on stuff you don’t want).

I’m starting to feel lucky. They told me I just needed to buy any other watch so I bought a 300 diver on rubber.

I am sure that the businesses stating these requirements are not looking to the future.

Is there anyone on TRF who would admit to spending US$100k just to purchase a watch with a cartoon figure on the dial.

If I had set these requirements on products I manufactured I am sure would not have been running my company for forty years.
