Lol, HK is always good for spotting. Saw a garbage collector with a milgauss the other day.

yes, one was a college professor and recently at a classic car meet. Certain places you will have a higher probability of seeing them. I really only see people wearing sub 1k watches. Its rare to see people wearing anything swiss made. I see lots of iwatches though

The best PP I've spotted in the wild in HK was a 5002P (i.e. the Sky Moon Tourbillon) on the wrist of someone who appeared to be a Chinese tourist at the Four Seasons Hotel.
The coolest spotting during my time in HK was a RM056-02 (i.e. the Sapphire crystal encased tourbillon that costs $2 million). What was even crazier was I spotted the same guy twice, 8 hours apart, in completely different areas (the first time was in a bank line-up, and the second time was at a mall selling electronics/phone accessories.) |

HK really is the best place to spot. Worked out at the island shangri-la this morning, then took a walk through Pacific Place (wife wanted to buy shoes). Saw several nice APs and a white RM

Funny, a guy on the bus on Friday was wearing a Nautilus and so was I. Have come across some in business meetings but honestly, the bus sighting aside, encounters are few and far between.

I forgot the other day in the plane I saw an orthodox Jew, young around 25, with the long hairs on the side and a hat who had a 5167, was strange to see it on a guy like that, didn't think they were into watches, I had my KV on, but if I had a Patek might have talked to him... |

I've seen various Nautilus/Aqua models on wrists in LA/OC.
You can't make out the other models from a distance though, at least I can't. |

I see Rolex often, especially when traveling. I have never seen a Patek in the wild.

Don't own Patek but never really see or pay attention if someone else is wearing one.

I saw about 5 Nautilus SS models in Mykonos this summer. Left my PM 5712 at home and wore my SS Daytona... ironically didn't see one of those all week but did see dozens of Rolex... !!!!

I was just in a meeting the other day and a guy had a 5146. We are friendly enough that he let me try it on. Beautiful watch.

Saw this really good looking guy the other day wearing a 5131r. He seemed like he was pretty cool with a great personality, so I went up to talk watches with him, because I was also wearing my 5131r, but then I realized I'd stepped in front of a mirror.

Great question! Come to think of it is quite rare to see one in the wild.
Also noticed, that they are rarely noticed when wearing them. That is part of the allure though isn't it. |

Saw a 5726 at the Zurich airport and a 5711p in Milan airport lounge recently. Some of these guys welcome a conversation and some not. Also sat next to a guy at a restaurant in Skagen who was wearing a 5990. After chatting for an hour or so, I realized that was the tip of the iceberg of his collection. Though he was the kind of guy who doesn't bother to set the complications, but I have some empathy given the size of the collection. Impossible to rotate fairly.

I saw a gentleman wearing a 5711 in Firenze on our recent trip. He appeared to be the owner or manager of the restaurant we were at.
