Reducing my collection: Up for sale is my Montblanc 149 fountain pen. The pen is in good working condition, fills and writes smoothly and can hold a lot of ink.

Features: - A smooth two-tone 18 K F nib that offers some line variation.
- Striped ink window. The pen is very well maintained and is in very good condition.
- The serial number and the word 'GERMANY' engraved on the clip ring, no 'Pix'. The pen comes with brass threads - I assume it is a pen from the 1990s.
- Piston filling mechanism that works flawlessly, fills the pen with ease to its maximum ink capacity. Piston has just been lubricated with silicone grease so you are good to go for a couple of years.
- Excellent writing performance.
- No cracks, just the usual microscratches. Please check the HQ photos. I am not a huge fan of polishing pens so I will leave it to the buyer. With a little bit of polishing I am sure this pen would be indistinguishable from a mint 149.
