There's a hair in my AP??

I bought a panda ROC from the boutique in New York in December 2019. I've worn it sparingly, maybe 10 days total. Was wearing it the other day, and I noticed what looked like a scratch on the rehaut. I thought that was weird, and when I got home and looked under a loupe it looked more like a fiber / hair. Not a scratch and definitely INSIDE the case.

I filmed a video the best I could.

Should I send this back to AP? A friend said it could take weeks, or should I get an authorized watchmaker to remove?

Why in the world would you not take it into the boutique? Even if it takes a couple months (which is not likely), it’s not your daily wear, so you can be without it a little while.

My friend owns a repair business, he quickly suggested it, but you're right, it's under warranty, I should definitely take it back there.

I guess let's turn this thread into a discussion about how weird it is there's a hair in my AP :P

Yeah, I watched your video, and it *looks* like a lash or fiber in there, but I’m not 100% sure what I’m seeing. Take it to the boutique.

Yes back to AP only - this will be covered under warranty. If a third party opens it that voids the warranty. Worth the short wait from AP !
