It now has sapphire crystal, right?! I am guessing the future MM300 will get the sapphire too?! I hope!

That lume on the bezel insert is super cool.

I wonder if Rolex will add this to the sub eventually

Gorgeous shade of green. The shot of it on your wife’s wrist really displays the luster. Congratulations

Saw this in the WRUW, came here to look for more...was not disappointed. However I'm not happy, another watch I want and can't get.

Congrats on such beautiful watch.

Thanks a lot Rashid. There might still be time if you call ADs in smaller cities, I guess, but I'm seeing significant markups on eBay and Watchrecon already.

I'd have to strike now, which unfortunately I'm not ready for. The MM300(sbdx17) is also an option but I underestimated the feverish frenzy that exist for Seiko diver's. I'm still learning and researching. Same thing with the original G-Shock reissue in all stainless, it's about the same fanaticism as new Rolex models.

I'm looking for affordable divers and was considering a Seiko or Marathon. The Marathon looks like it may win out by default availability. Will be fishing in deep water over the next few months...

Check out the SRP777 or other members of the Turtle family.

Looks great, I took a liking to the new green bezel/dial myself. Plus I’m a Seiko/GS fan also.

Wow, congrats, Adam
This deep forest diver is something I've been anticipating for its release. Have to now look for it and try on. They say green is the new blue.

So very nice! If the SLA013/015 didn’t exist, this one would definitely be on my wish list.

Got to glance at one in person. Any wording on the pricing? Is it possible to obtain at least some discount on these guys? Thank you!

Congrats! Such a nice watch. I had a chance to see this in the flesh today on my wrist. It's a beauty!

I was surprised by how thick it was though. Didn't have a reference to compare it to before I saw it but it just doesnt appear to be as thick in pictures than in does in real life.

Any more wrist/watch shots?

Did you try it on? It doesn't look or feel too so thick on the wrist because the bottom half of the case angles in at about 45 degrees, so it sinks down a bit lower. It definitely has a big tool-watch presence but it's a couple of mm lower than a Rolex Deepsea, and on my 7.25 wrist feels about the same as a Black Bay.

The green really is deep, too, and quite hard to get on camera. Just a few pics for now, and probably a fuller review later

Some shots on the silicone strap . . .
Stunning.....congrats!!

I did briefly. It looks good in size in your pic there on the side profile.

I do find the in house MT black bays too thick too so it's most likely a personal subjective thing!

I also tried on the GS snowflake, that piece is so light, it's like holding air! Incredible.
