It's black. A few of the hodinkee shots made it look like a very dark blue.

Very nice, looks like way more watch then the $600 selling price. I would like to see it on a blue distressed croc or tan leather with contrast stitching.

Got mine today and immediately put it on Seiko's accessory bracelet for Alpinist. I think I like it. :)

I’m not normally a Seiko fan but the blue Alpinist looks absolutely fantastic.

Shame it hasn’t been made available in the UK.

I might have to trawl eBay for an unworn one..

I have a leather band alligator style, the stock band, and I really love the 3D solid link one with solid end links. In fact it's dethroned my Rolex SS SkyD blue as daily beater. Got the bracelet from Amazon yet guess he's selling lots of them. https://amzn.to/2NJHk6h

Just got an alert today from HODINKEE that it was available for purchase . . Clicked the link and added to cart and paid for . . I was on the waitlist after missing the initial run. I’m curious if mine is just a high number or some middle number that was returned . . We will see.
