I had a bad experience. Had to send my 1680 back twice. He doesn’t use OEM parts which caused the problem. Send it to a RSC.

Do it at your own peril

Just send it to a RSC. Rolex will do an examination and give you the cost for repair. You can go ahead or decline and trust your invicta dealer.

I don't get it, why have a great watch like the Submariner and then not wear it, I suppose there must be a valid reason.

Best advice, get RSC to give you a quote for repairs, once you have that decide if you can afford it or whether you need to save some money to pay for the work.

Just my 10 cents worth of advice.

When I do give it the 40 full winds, it isn't smooth like it used to be. Almost like it scraping against something. :-(
I can't afford the $600-$1,000 service. I realize you get what U pay for tho!
HELP???

Absolutely not. Send to RSC or find a watchmaker that has a Rolex parts account.

Invicta is not a very high-end brand and then you also have the issue of not having a Rolex parts account. You don't want replication parts used in a movement service, just genuine Rolex.

You're better off saving up and not using the watch than you are having someone work on it that isn't certified etc.

If you are not wearing your Rolex and do not want to have it serviced properly, then perhaps you should sell it?

Good luck!

Good find! Sounds like Dr. Death.

OP, listen to the experienced people here and send it to RSC, LAWW, Rolliworks, Rik in Florida, etc. If you actually care about the watch do yourself a favor and send it to a watchmaker who will do the same.
