Incoming (Nautilus and gold inside)

Sharing my happiness of having picked-up a new nautilus...

My second nautilus and second patek (the previous one was a 5712 steel).

As always, the watch is absolutely amazing and finishing is stunning.

Waiting time was supposed to be 18/24 months and ended up being more 30 months because of COVID.

Truly great experience with the boutique (much better than first time around - I guess they are now clear that I am not a flipper ;-)

Will pause on nautiluses and probably get a WT as next PP.

And now the pics:

True bonus was to discover (as you can see in the last pic) this model has been upgraded to a deployant clasp. This is truly a great plus!!!!

Enjoy and savour it, and yes the clasp is very elegantly cool.

Would it be appropriate to post a picture with your namesake?

I know you are joking… but what are you asking? For OP to show his AD card with his name on it?

Thanks all for the kind comments!
Must say it's a very nice piece but can't stop thinking about the next one now... I think it's a disease ;-)

And I'll definitely need to repost this one with the right drink! Actually I'll establish this as a tradition from now on.

My wife and I just got back from Italy a few weeks ago. She lives on that stuff while we are there

That is a true 'adult' watch. It can be worn in a truly dignified manner with a suit and tie and casual without being overstated even considering the yellow gold. It's remarkable. Congrats.
