What's your beater watch?

My two most-worn beaters are my Seiko Turtle and an old titanium Swiss Army field watch from the 90’s. For real hard wear I turn to my G-Shocks.

Sinn U50 is the beater. Surprised I only saw one other in the responses so far. Fantastic beater!

Submariner 41 is the everyday

I know mine's not everyones cup of tea, but so far I have only had positive responses.

Also interesting to see how all your watches aren't all in perfect synch, seeing how they're Atomic clock watches!

Some of you guys have got very funny ideas about a "beater" watch.

A Rootbeer GMT? Daytonas?? Bloody hell you boys must be minted if that is your beater watch that you wear when you are doing the gardening, DIY or any other job where the watch could get knocked about!

I'd rather wear my G Shocks on holiday in the swimming pool than my Rolexes or other nice watches xD

That's what my G-Shock is for; I've got plenty of watches for this purpose just not my good ones.

My true beater is a Casio G-shock Solar. I bought it at Walmart nearly 15 years ago for maybe $80 when I was broke and wore it extensively when renovating a rental property over the last few years. It's speckled with paint now and I keep it on top of my watch winder, facing a window. Keeps right on "ticking" and still syncs with WWVB every night regardless of weather.

I think some folks are a bit confused about the difference between a daily and a beater.

I believe that's part of the testing for them.

Casioak and M5610BB for me.

Even for staying at home all day in home office setting, I find that the radio-controlled G-shock is great to be sure to be able to time your "going back from the kitchen and connect in Teams meeting down to the second" very practical.
