Bluesy

Had SUCH a nice time this afternoon. Rocked up at the AD's and theres these 3 young lads school blazers on checking out the exhibition pieces. They bail as we arrive, yon nervous way as they do. Me n my mate shout them back. It was nice, they had the urge but not the wherewithal so we cracked on. Really really nice to see these fellas liking the watches, to be encouraged.

The we went into the AD and I collected this absolute beauty! :) What a stunning, eyepopping bit of kit.

It's good to think that one of those school lads from yesterday will have his own bluesy moment one day. :)

Don't use anything to wipe it. Soap, water and a powerful dryer on cold to clean this watch, lest you end up with swirls on the gold polished links (it will happen anyhow).

Wow…the PCLs are that sensitive? I typically wipe my watches down with a microfiber cloth after I wear them. Not recommended for the Bluesy?

nicest piece in all of rolex, and has been since its introduction in the 80s. Nothing better than this.

Congratulations, that is a beautiful watch. It’s definitely a classic and the new model really feels substantial on the wrist. Enjoy it my friend!

Gold PCL will get swirls just by you putting a sweatshirt. It’s coming and it’s inevitable. Doing what I suggested will help to « uglier » part of them. Light swirls are ok, but big ugly ones not so much IMO.

Did you move the watch on or do you still have it? I am stunned at how amazing this watch is.If Pixar did Rolex it would look like this! Ineviable that it will get marked up. That's OK though.

This was my very first love of Rolex. This is the model that made me fall in love with Rolex since I was 16 years old. Absolutely stunning. The only thing that trumps this is the full YG version.

I tried one (YG) earlier in the year at the same time as the bluesy. Loved them both but tbh the bluesy shouted louder to me. I might allow myself a YG one day but not for a while. :)
My 14060M is going to my son.

I have always linked the blue of the dial to the color of the sea, where I live. Perhaps .... are the best looking Submariner ever. Always keep it

Microfiber is fine. But just know sooner or later those gold links will have swirls, but its ok, it'll still look awesome.

thanks for the additional insight. I can’t wait to get the call for this one. I was in between this and the SD43 for my first (in 2018)and ended up going with the 43. No regrets at all but the bluesy is the most stunning piece imo and a must have.
