What time does your date wheel change

Hi, I have had my Sub C (Brand new) three weeks and I notice that it is 5 past midnight every night before the date wheel changes to mark the new date. Am I being overly fussy or should the wheel change at exactly midnight? What is everybody else's experience regarding same. Thanks in advance

I have had some that change right at midnight, and some that are off by up to 10 minutes. normal.

My datejust is about 27 years old and changes at the stroke of midnight. Not sure what people consider good or not though. The watch tech people could probably shed some light on it though. Vanessa perhaps.

just noticed the brand new part of your post...I would think it would be a little bit more accurate, but I still wouldn't worry about it

Most will change a few minutes either side of midnight, with very few changing right on the second hand striking 12.
Five minutes isn't unheard of, and wouldn't bother me as I'm always asleep anyway!!! As long as it's switched over when I awake, all is good in my eyes..

Very normal not to worry .
My Explorer II would flip over at about 12:05 and since Rolex Canada serviced it the date flips over at 11:55 and I was told its perfectly normal and acceptable for the date to change before, after or right on midnight.

Mine does within 1 minute of midnight, not exactly at the stroke of 12. Other watch brands I have are typically within 1-3 minutes after 12. The only time you should be really worried is if it changes at 5 minutes past noon. Then there's a big problem!

All my other Rolex change date right at about midnight. The BLNR always changes anywhere between 5-25 minutes after midnight. I'm thinking it might be attributed to breaking in but I have no clue why. As someone said, as long as the date has changed in the morning when I wake up I'm okay with it. I've read other people's BLNR does the same thing so I ain't worried.

I posted this video once before, but can't remember where. It's a clip of the date changing.
