Jubilee on Batman....

I know these are trodden paths, but it seems there’s a lot more folks coming round to the jubilee on the batman.... do you agree?

I own a BLNR on oyster and love the bracelet, I think it looks correct for a GMT. I also have DJ 41 on a jubilee and think it’s perfect.

So it’s not the bracelet, but I just don’t think it works too well on a GMT.

Yup, gorgeous piece on jubilee, and new movement.
I think at first it was just a bit alien looking, but people are coming around to it now. When you get your hands on it, it’s a gorgeous piece

Don't know if I will come around. If they came out with an oyster bracelet for it I would swap mine out in a heartbeat.

I won the Batman on the Jubilee at the last TRF Event and have not owned a Jubilee anything before. Once it arrived I could not be more pleased with the fit and wear of the Jubilee Bracelet and the look. I liked it so much I went and bought the BLRO on the Jubilee. I have always been an Oyster Bracelet fan but there is room for both in a collection.

I agree it's a perfect combination, comfort and visual separation from dive watches.

Jubilee on Batman....

I love it. Not only for comfort but looks. Also, I love that it hides scratches, yet has the shine - the PCLs on Oyster definitely do NOT do that!

And to be candid ... I love how it separates itself from the previous BLNR with the old movement. I like having the “latest and greatest” in (just about) everything. No one could wonder if mine is new or a 6 year old watch.

I tried very hard to like it and enjoy it but it's too small for a grown man. It's suited more for a woman as it has a very feminine appearance on the wrist. Mine went to my wife's watch box rather quickly and for once it was actually a choice where she didn't just take it.

I was a not a big fan of the Jubilee bracelet until I got the BLNR. One of my favorite SS Rolex.

Jubilee on Batman....

Well, mine is a new one and is stuck in its box at my niece’s house in Sao Paulo as she collected it from the AD for me, as I live in London. I was going to pick it up on 2 April but have decided not to travel and stay put.

So... I guess I’ll prob only enjoy it December earliest. I can’t wait. Tried it in at a gray dealer in the London city centre but bought it from an AD. I simply cannot wait!

To scratch my watch itch, and whilst I haven’t got my mitts on the batman, I just bought a Pulsar P2!! Arriving next week I hope! Long desired watch. Been looking for the Tiffany & Co edition, tu ir was impossible to find a pristine one. I’m very happy though!

Absolutely love it on the jubilee, it’s so comfortable and looks contemporary. Between my jubilee BLNR and root beer with oyster, the jubilee is way more comfortable.

I'm a huge oyster fan as they are very sporty but I'm warming up to the jubilee for the GMT. I'd still probably get the oyster though.

I do like it. I also like that it gives visual distinction from a Sub.

I remember when those first came out in the 70s, my parents had gold colored ones and so did some of their golfing and bowling buddies...

At first I was on the oyster bracelet camp. I liked the sportiness of the oyster and the jubilee looked weird. But I came around to it because the jubilee is just so damn comfortable.

Just from all the positive comments on this and other watch forums. The same way one would deduce that the current Air King or YM II is not as well received. And even ... the same way one would deduce the submariner is popular.

There is not scientific data published for any of these in any official polling the you or I are private to. We read comments over time in our forums, in person conversations with fellow watch geeks, etc and come up with these conclusions.

Isn’t that how you come to conclusions on almost anything?
