Richard Hammond's new watch

This should help drive demand and prices even more ! Taken from episode 2 of season 2 of The Grand Tour. Handsome watch.

I hope he's not going to "perfect" this one British-style.

If I made the kind of money he does, I'd be rocking a BLRO too.

He has a bunch of different expensive watches. A number of the car guys seem to have at least one nice watch... or many.

Mike Brewer
Dan Short of Fantomworks
Richard Rawlings
Harry Metcalf

To name a few.

I love that TGT is doing well and Top Gear is pretty much unwatchable.

I've noticed that too, it makes sense car guys would appreciate fine mechanical craftsmanship.

James May had on a white Milgauss a few weeks ago. I think it was the segment where he was racing some longboard skaters.

It's not a new watch, just another he has decided to wear from his collection, 16710 I believe

Clarkson has been sporting a ceramic IWC lately. Prompted me to start looking for an old IWC ceramic doppel model.

He also wore that watch for the most part (if not all) of season one of the grand tour

Richard Hammond's new watch

Looks like a 1675/16750 to my eye. The thicker bezel tips it off

This + the larger plots when compared to the 16710.

Not a BLRO, I can tell it’s an SS but I am not experienced enough to say what model it is after that.

Add another £500 on to used prices then over the next few weeks.

Oh, this reminds me how ticked off I am at the little bugger!!! The OP's photo shows Hammond leaving the Buffalo, NY airport on his way to the bus terminal in downtown Buffalo, literally 50 meters from my office. He and James were here, and they didn't have the decency to come up the elevator and say hello. Rude!

Expect Pepsi resale values to plummet if this photo gets out.

Tragically I was a fan of old Top Gear, Quentin Willson, Tiff Needell and the magazine style. I watched a lot of Nu Top Gear too, though towards the end of its run on BBC it nuked the fridge big-time.

But I have always had a possibly irrational and definitely pathological dislike of the snivelling Hamster. It pains me to see such a lovely watch on his limp wrist.

Oh dear he really isn’t your cup of tea then.

I don’t mind the guy, especially as he is land rover man.

That said the whole trio are starting to bore me. Tiff Needell and Quintin Wilson were the kings though.

I am hearing more people raving about Series 2. I think I will give TGT another go, I was not really impressed with the first series. I will be on the lookout for the GMT too.

Those look like jewels in that bezel to me, but I'm half blind anymore.

Whatever it is, that's not a "super-case."

Same here. I actually enjoyed the first season of TGT but S2 is much better

It looks like an SS 167xx series. Numbers on the bezel look more like the old SS version rather than the 116719BLRO. Colours on the bezel are also too vivid for a 116719BLRO.

On his new show “Crash Course”, he seems to wear a different Rolex each show.
