SD43, D-Blue or TT Blue Sub C?
Hi All,
My current collection includes the BLNR and LV Sub C. I’m contemplating adding a 3rd to round out the collection. I’ve narrowed my options down to the SD43, D-blue or TT Blue Sub C. However, I’ve had a difficult time finding any local Rolex AD that has all 3 in stock to do a thorough side by side comparison. I’m interested if any forum members have had a similar experience and your thoughts on what you might choose to have a nice balance. I appreciate all your advice and insight in advance! 40mm is my sweet spot so I would go with the LB. Certainly there will be a split through the forum but it would be a perfect fit in your collection.

SD43, D-Blue or TT Blue Sub C?
SD43 is an optimal choice. You need a pure black color in your collection, you need a different size than yours 40 mm watches, you do not need more than 1 scratch magnet bracelet, new engine and 72 hours charging, perfect proportion and not so heavy and bulky compared with DSSD. I have more arguments if you did not decide yet.

I’d go SD 43. But nice knowing you can’t go wrong!

SD43, D-Blue or TT Blue Sub C?
My vote goes to the SD43, although the bluesy is very tempting but the fact that sd43 is an anniversary model with red line that may be removed any moment + the future collectibilty potential makes it very attractive to me. The d blue also an awesome watch but I personally can't get past it huge size and tall profile so until then my order is:
1- sd43 2- bluesy 3- D blue |

All comes down to your wrist size and whether you can pull off a bigger watch. Of the three I agree the SD43 would be the one as you don't have a black dial diver.
As for finding them to try on, check your local grey dealer bricks and mortar shop. They will probably have all for you to try. |

116613lb, is different enough from the LV, with the others two you'll have 1,5/2 black dial watches.

Both are quite special pieces and hard to get at the moment. May be changed or discontinued at some point. If you don't like whichever one you get you can easily trade for little or no loss and try the other. If you decide on neither the SD43 or the D Blue, you can easily pick up a 116613LB (which will always be available for the foreseeable future - and possibly at a discount) If you do it the other way around and decide you don't like the LB, you'll take some $ pain when you trade or sell it.

They're all great watches, though I'm not a TT person. I'd go with the D-Blue given that I think the dial is cooler than the SD43 (which to me basically looks like an over-sized Sub).

It would be between the TT and the SD43 for me. Two of my favorites, so you couldn't go wrong with either.
Since you have the LV-C, I might lean a fraction toward the SD, but...the Bluesy and LV make quite the pair with their sunburst dials. |

SD43 for sure. SD43 was my initial first choice, until someone quickly left deposit. I really regret it but am still happy with my deep blue.
