Money gram scams

Hi
I am selling a watch in the UK the buyer is in Germany he wants to pay by moneygram. The delivery address is in the UK. Are there any scams with moneygram where the buyer can reverse the transaction? TIA

The name alone sounds like a scam. WTH is “money gram” and why can’t you just get a wire or something? And delivery address is elsewhere? How many red flags you need here?

I have checked with the bank and they can dispute the transaction, in the sameway way as with paypal. I am highly sceptical thats why im covering all bases before i do anything.

I mean, you already have a discrepancy in address. My friend, walk far away from this deal. And quickly.

These moneygram and candygram scams have been going on for a long time....as this illustrates the deviousness of the people behind them.

Thanks for posting, yes this is an old scam. Or the sending check $1500 over price and they want you to send them back the $1500 via...
