Overview:
This Rolex Day-Date ref. 18038 remains true to the original design of the Day-Date, but it features an updated case construction and an updated movement. The Ivory Jubilee dial boasts a sharp matte white/cream color, yellow gold indices, and yellow gold minute track markers, something of which is rarely seen in Rolex Presidential Models. Worn by many presidents and influential people, the day-date has served as a symbol of power and success since its inception. A Rolex President bracelet in matching 18k yellow gold completes the look. There is just nothing quite like a yellow gold Day-Date on a President bracelet; this is the one to have. This watch has also recently undergone a complete service. The Complete Picture: "6,512,xxx" serial number dates the production of this watch circa 1980. This timepiece is in overall very good pre-owned condition with very light signs of wear. It just received a fresh service and will be good to run for years to come. The 18K presidential bracelet with hidden clasp opens and shuts tightly and has very little stretch. Bracelet fits up to 17.5cm wrists. The spring bar on 12 o'clock lug is aftermarket but original will be included. The watch appears to be unpolished on both the case and bracelet. All photos are of the actual watch being sold.
