My least favourite of the modern versions. More so than Spectre.

I enjoyed it and I think it was a good ending to his series of bond films

My rankings of DC's Bond movies
1. Casino Royale
2. Skyfall
3. NTTD

huge gap in quality

4. Spectre
5. QoS.

Overall I liked NTTD but would be hard to watch in theaters again with the 2:40 run time with an additional 20+ minutes of previews and ads.

I enjoyed it. I thought the could have ended it differently, but it was understandable. I did feel the story was very predictable.

I thought it was weak. Some of the action in the Daniel Craig versions of Bond were a just too unbelievable

I asked my oldest daughter, who is 15, if she fancied to watch the movie with me. Her answer was "Who is this James Bond?".

So I went to the movie theater alone: I was shocked that we were only 11 people there and I, at 52 yo, was the third younger.

BTW, I enjoyed the movie a lot.

I liked it but it was pretty long. I actually had to get up and go use the restroom about 3/4ths of the way through the movie, right when they got inside Remi Malik's evil lair. Too much iced coffee during the previews and first part of the film, I guess!

I am a Bond fan, have read enough to know the flow of the movie, and going to see this one feels like real work.

Please return to the self-contained movie adventure, without the "story arc" soap opera.

All I needed to know in the 1960's from the previous movies was Blofeld was the bad guy who ran Spectre. They have even ruined that.

I've always hoped that a brave Producer/Studio/Director would re-read the books and make a 1950's 'period piece' series.

No chance, I suppose.
Everything these days, has to be, what I call; "crash-bang-wollop movies"....all, root'n-toot'n gun shooting', rocket launchin' bomb blastin' CGG, blast fest, for todays, short attention-span audiences.

....I know, I know....."go back to sleep, grandad!"

Come to think of it, I didn't even realize the old Bond movies even had a story.

Cool guy, cool car, cool watch, wins at Baccarat, great locations, hot chicks with suggestive names, and a moronic bad guy with 10 chances to kill him but instead gives a speech and dies in the end in a big explosion.

What more could you want???

I remember going Saturday Afternoon Matinees in the 50s with all the other little buggers watching the “Serials” and movies while booing and throwing popcorn during all the kissing scenes.

Ah, the 50s.

Ah, the 50s.
Hmmm....
You're a child of the late 30's or 40's (maybe early 50's)....and you didn't know "Bond (movies) even had a story".

Me, 1949, and I read every Fleming, as a teenager.
I was too young to be allowed to see Dr No at the cinema, but glad that I had read the book, as years later, I won a wager with a colleague, who was convinced, that the method of attempting to kill Bond, (in the book) was by Tarantula.

I thought it was the worst Bond movie of the Daniel Craig era and close to the worst of all of the Bond movies. I think with all of the technology and other advances available to movies today the technical aspects should have been better. Way too long and the ending left me baffled. Depending on where the franchise goes I may be done.

I would have been 12, and not allowed in to the cinema to see a UK 'Certificate A' film.

Maths, not your strong suit then.

Yes! This is great. I wonder if this is a better idea for a big budget streaming network series. Each season could focus on a handful of books but you could really get into the time period and you could develop characters in a way that you just can't in a movie. I would love to see this.

Side note, I still haven't read the books despite being such a huge Bond fan since I was a kid.

Wow. We already were working full time jobs and allowed in bars at 12.

What boarding school were you in?

The wifey and I enjoyed it a great deal. It did seem a little long but I’d gladly rewatch NTTD.

DC has become our favorite Bond.
Casino Royale will be hard to beat for whomever takes over as Bond.

My dad was from 1948, he was also a big fan of the older Bond films and read the works of Fleming. Yet the first one he showed me was Licence to Kill
