Officially NorCal residents (pic-heavy)!

As some of you may know, we recently moved back to California after 3 years in Florida. I'm a West Coaster (spent the previous 11 years in SoCal prior to the FL move, went to grad school in CA, etc.), so I am EXTREMELY happy to be back here and away from the bugs, humidity, etc. My wife is freezing her little butt off, but she likes the change as well.

Living in Monterey, we got our boys out and about during our first weekend in town. Our stuff doesn't arrive until early November so still living out of suitcases, but at least happy to have the PCH and other activities in our backyard. The boys are ecstatic as well, if you can't tell based on the pictures.

Also took my eldest in the C8 on 17-mile drive yesterday. No pics from that, but he was smiling from ear to ear.

Welcome back.

She’ll need a new wardrobe because coastal California is definitely not the same as Fla.

Lots of fun to be had in Nor Cal. Check Half Moon Bay and Bodega Bay just up the cost for some beach fun and good seafood.

Thanks Eddie - I don't know about that first line. I've said plenty of bad things about it.

Not much of a golfer but always open to meeting fellow TRF'ers! Let me know if you're ever in the area - I'll be participating in the SF G2G in February as well.

Paul, there's always room in the garage for a fellow Corvette. Your room, on the other hand...

Man…what a stunning and dreamy part of the world you live in! Amazing area, been many times when we were younger…really due back as our kids keep asking me. When things open up for us, hopefully this summer I will bring my wife and kids and show them how incredibly beautiful it is there.

Enjoy the new chapter with the family….btw, there was a blue C8 in our car club this past weekend with a corsa exhaust and it looked amazing and sounded even better

Welcome back to CA! If you're exploring the area, Phil's Fish Market for Cioppino is a local favorite in Moss Landing. (25-30 minute drive North for you). Rest of the menu is 'ok' but the Cioppino is special.

Congrats on the move, hopefully you missed the brunt of the storm that pounded us closer to SF yesterday.

Nicholas, if you do make it out here, ring me up so we can grab drinks!

Those exhausts are amazing but I'm already killing my wife with the stock exhaust.

Great part of the country and lots of cool places to visit near there — SF, Big Sur, wine country, Tahoe, San Diego, etc. You and your family will love exploring! Congrats on the move.

Welcome back to Cali.

Hope you guys didn't get that soaked this past weekend.

Recall visiting Monterey for a business meeting years back, we wrapped up early and had some time to kill before flying out, and our cool limo driver gave us a tour and drove around town, it was spring time and the scenery was just amazingly beautiful. The waves, the coastlines, the hills, the town, everything's vivid exactly like you photographed. Hope your wife and kids will have a great time calling this the new home

Absolutely, my daughter is a great babysitter…not so much my 13 soon to be 14yr old boy…he is a wild one at times!

There was a white C8 there as well and it was stock and sounded incredible as such…really well done these cars, very impressed as I had some real close up time with them. Hell of a car

I just love you guys Jesse. So happy to see you in your “happy place”. I too love that part of your country and have travelled the pacific coast highway many many times over 25 years of travel when I called on the newspaper industry.

Now …. In this climate you and the wife should buy some nice leather jackets! I have a couple of makers to recommend

Fantastic pictures as always.

Fell in love with Monterey when we had our championship races at Laguna Seca in 2014.

First, it was just cool to drive down to the coast at the end of the day. What a beautiful village.

Second, the CHP trooper that didn’t ticket me for 75 heading up 68 to my hotel in Salianas after a late night dinner

Hope life there in NorCal will be as beautiful as your family.

Thanks for all the kind words, gents. Just know that if you're ever in the Monterey area, you have an open invitation to crash at our house - just not Paul!

You are young, handsome, obviously comfortable financially, with a beautiful wife and wonderful kids, travel all over the world….

Sigh….

Now, if you will excuse me… I am going to go slam all the doors in my condo…
