Nikon Z9
Well its 'here'!
Fantastic spec'. I wish I needed one, at £5299, sounds like a steal. There'll probably be a waiting list.....unless you go to the scalpers. |

They were all shipped to 'The Emerald Isle" (Sri Lanka).

I’m still waiting for a left handed DSLR or mirrorless ….. love a Canon EOS …. Sure, I can take a picture my camera and flip it in post …. But that’s just not the same

Good God that thing is huge!
Here I am hoping that Sony or Nikon comes out with a smaller, travel oriented, FF or APS-C

Both are professional cameras, so way above the needs of most people.

I think Nikon hit a home run with this camera. It's not meant to be for everyone, but as a flagship mirrorless camera it will serve as a comfortable transition for the D6 crowd to mirrorless. Priced very aggressively too. Hopefully there is a trickle-down to smaller bodies like they did with the D3 and then the D700. I'm still using the Z6 which is all I really need, except the AF is way behind what this Z9 has to offer.

Glad I wasn’t having coffee when I read this…
Glad that Nikon has upped their game in mirrorless for the faithful. Impressive specs and aggressively priced. Even though our friend on the Emerald Isle for some reason had an irrational disdain for my beloved Fujis I’ve been shooting a Sony A1 lately and it’s a beast. So many amazing cameras these days. Z9, R5, A1, Q2, GFX100S and more. |
