I have 3 watch subC , speedy sapphire 2019, DJ36 blue roman 2019.
I love sub but DJ36 i,m really feel small , speedy good but no my style.
if I trade DJ and Speedy for GMT2 black C 2009 no box and paper? or it sub and GMT too similar? any recommendations?
P.S. sorry for my English.

i would never do a two for one especially with no papers and box, but that is just me.

Go for it if you really want to.

The value is fair on the trade if the GMT is in NM condition.

Anytime you can turn a common Omega into a Rolex SS Sports is approved.

Also turning 36mm DJ into SS Sports is also approved.

You don't like either watch you are trading, so get out of them and into SS Sports Rolex. Nobody ever regrets that.

I assume you have the papers for your watches. I would look to trade for a GMTIIc with papers.

You're almost always gonna get hurt trading. Your mileage may vary! Why do they want out of these hot sports models? If you're going to trade make sure it's a trade that you don't have to think too hard about in terms of fairness. If it's a big decision on weather or not you should trade wait til you can pay cash or sell yourself. Your other watches are not losing value. Submariner and GMT both stand alone in any collection but I prefer the GMT. Great value on the discontinued GMT Black but like other posters have mentioned get the complete set. Get what you want, good luck!

would not do that trade, especially if no box/paper

also, personally I think the subC and GMT (especially the black GMT) look too similar.

I always find it funny how many people put so much stock in ‘paper s’ or warranty cards. Especially with Rolex. If you trust the seller - and you want the GMT do the deal. I think it’s fair. And if you plan on wearing the watch and enjoying it - who cares?

Besides. ‘Papers’ on an 09 GMT are completely meaningless today in 2021.

Get the watch you want. Enjoy it. Watches are NOT investments.

Box and paper isn’t everything. For one you can easily buy a box, if you trust the seller and know it’s legit you can service the watch and get essentially renewed papers. If you can fake a watch you can fake a bit of paper, I don’t really see the value in expired warranties. If the watch is proven genuine otherwise, condition is more important. Re the trade, I think you will find a black sub and black gmt similair. The sub and Batman would be a nice duo, or consider a Pepsi or Coke 16710 if the ceramic Pepsi is too much of a stretch.

Personally I don’t really care about box and papers. I wouldn’t do the trade tho because the Sub and black GMT look pretty similar.

I think the Sub and GMT look too similar to have both. I’d consider another dial option to pair with the Sub.
