This just has to stop update

My resolve has the breaking strength of a chocolate bar, earlier this month, on this very forum,I stated that enough was enough, I had just purchased my last. No more Rolex watches. In the hidden depths of my mind I had thought that one day I might get a TT, and that whitefaced Oysterquatz, would fit nicely with my small Datejust collection, and then I saw this beauty offered for sale, at what I felt was a reasonable price, one I could afford, and three days later, its here, on my wrist and looking splendid. That's it now, I'm done, 7's enough, one for each day of the week. Just one question though, having an odd number, isn't that unlucky............?

Wish I'd bought the OQ when offered one in 1987. (Was also offered the Sub too.) Got an Oyster Perpetual Date instead.
Still made a good choice, though.

Horrific how you have been tricked into another great looking watch. Its not a easy life sometimes! 8 is a lucky number in China, and hence guess a "last one" should balance it out nicely!

Enjoy that beauty and wear in good health!!

That’s a great watch! Love the bracelet. Congrats.
P.S. there’s always room for one more

You need another; according to The Beatles, 8 days a week.

Very nice collection of datejusts.... lets see the 1016 mixed in there!

With all the focus on the sport models I think the datejust (especially in 36mm) gets overlooked as one of the most classic watches out there.
