Rolex in the 80s and 90s

Remember watching Magnum PI as a kid and saw the Pepsi Rolex for the first time. Knew one day if I made it, it meant getting a Rolex and a Mercedes Benz. Been fortunate enough to accomplish both. Planning on giving my Pepsi to my son when he turns 25yo. Missed an opportunity in 2009 to get the Kermit for $6,000 nib at local AD straight out of their safe. Didn’t have the funds at the time

In 2000 I walked into my local AD to find brand new subs for 4500 all day long….

I’ve turned down Kermits at msrp
Used cokes for 4500 and 2500 (rough)
White Daytona’s for 15% off
Hulk at 7200
and on and on
