Did you find the Tudor statement in a doc somewhere on the interwebs? Not doubting it’d be a nobler alloy, just my curiosity of the alloy make-up.

I’m almost positive it was mentioned to some extent in the launch video from Tudor.

Yesterday, I was pretty indifferent to this watch but I think the photo from OP has changed my mind. Does seem to be a different tone to the silver colour than the previous stainless steel BB58’s.

I must try to see one of these at an AD as soon as I can.

Apologies if it’s been discussed before but why do you reckon there was no silver bracelet option? Surely cost wasn’t the issue?

Love it! One of the best releases this year, next to the Tudor Chronos.

Can you advise if 925 is any heavier than steel?

The more I look at this watch, the more I feel it could find a space in a lot of collections. Such a unique watch that would go with most outfits.

Nice! Congrats on your BB58 925! Silver is a nice option I never thought of before. I assume it's alloyed or coated to prevent tarnish. This makes more sense then the 18k YG option which takes Tudor to an area I'm not sure makes sense. Surprised you got your 925 so quick. Wear it in good health. Cheers!

Love that color they went with. Works really well with the silver.

Did you get a picture of the chrono by any chance? Surprised you thought it was chunky. YT vid said thickness reduced to 14.4 mm now.

That is still a lot I’ll wait until thickness drops below 13 mm

Looks great OP. Ordered one and looking forward to seeing it in the flesh. Looks like a matte finished Platinum or White gold case at SS prices. The big question is what is in the other 7.5% in addition to the 92.5 % Sterling Silver content. I suspect it’s a Cellini collaboration metal. Germanium or some such hard metal. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Arge...terling_silver

I also read about the alloy used with the 92.5 silver. It is a variant so there is no change in color or need to polish like we think of when we hear about sterling silver. Very nice looking watch.

Look up Argentium sterling silver. Best bet is that they are using something like this.

I’m not saying we should continue to guess. I’d like to see them state what metals are in their alloy.

Congrats, i'm going to pick up a Tudor Chrono today actually. Hoping you're enjoying the silver dial.

I have the Bronze with grey dial, and my only gripe is that it's a 43mm watch on strap with zero taper. So it's quite unpleasant wearing experience when i switch to it from my jubilee bracelet rolex. Hoping the Tudor Chrono bracelet is a touch more comfortable than the beefy straps.
