126710 link configuration for 6.75-7 wrist questions

I realize there may be some trial and error on moving links around but was curious how most have their setup on the 6 and 12 side. Currently have 6 on the 6 side and 9 on the 12 side with micro in last hole easy link closed. Clasp is centered but the blade isn’t. I think this is causing the watch head to rotate away from me which is annoying.

Thinking of moving one jubilee link from the 6 to 12 side to center the blade.

Always had oyster bracelets so this jubilee is a bit of a change...

Thank you

I started with the 6/9 ratio you mention in your post, but recently did the switch you're considering, micro set to middle position. I think the watch wears better.

Wrist is somewhere around 6.75. Good luck,

My wrist is about 6.875-7 inches and my setup is 6 links at 6pm and 10 links at 12pm, with micro-adjust in outermost slot and easy link closed. The blade is perfectly centered but my clasp is slightly off center towards 6pm ... I'm fine with this because this configuration helps keep my watch head from turning away from me. I know exactly what you're speaking of. Bottom line, size it so your blade is centered, not your clasp.

For me with Jubilee bracelet
6.5-6.75in
7 links at 6 o’clock
11 links at 12 o’clock

Fits snug.

The 126710 comes from factory with 18 jubilee links. You have 18 links still on. With your size wrist you must have had a link or 2 removed. No? I removed 2 links for my 6.875-7inch wrist.

You’re right! I think I’m mistakenly counting the connecting link under the clasp as well. Which would make it 6 and 10.

Thank you all for the replies! I believe I will move the links to a 5/10 configuration which should center the blade up just about right.

On my 7.00 wirst to center the blades on the bottom of my wirst when the head is centered, I have this setup: 5 links on 6 side and 12 links on 12 side.
I don’t feel the watch so comfortable. Maybe I must switch a links from 12 to 6 side.

Do you think this placement on my wrist is ok?

Hi OP.
6.75'" wrist here...
Not including the "fixed" links that sit within the extremities of the lugs OR the easy link within the clasp OR the half a link that is part of the clasp on the 6 o'clock side, I have:
5 full links on 6 o'clock side.
10 full links on 12 o'clock side.
Watch stays perfectly well centred for a snug (cool weather) fit with centre hole micro-adjust position with easy link closed...

You have the same configuration with one link less on 12 side.
I don’t know whether to keep it like this or move a link at 6 o'clock, what do you think viewing the photos I have posted?

I made the change to 5 links on the 6 side so now I’m at 5/10. I’m still deciding on fit.... I may add another to 6 side and adjust micro all the way back. 5 feels a bit short but I will wear it awhile to decide.

I have the same problem, 5 too short e 6 too long 😂 I have to decide.
With these link changes I have ruined the head of the screws :(

I have a 7" wrist. Kept all the links in and moved the micro adjust one position smaller. Perfect fit and clasp is centered. Moving that micro adjust is a pain in the ass though.

These are instead the pictures with 6 links 6 hour and 11 links 12 hour.
Which setup do you think fits better on my wrist?

126710 - Jubilee...How many links, 17 or 18 ?

This question has been answered a few times with 17, but mostly with 18...but to count 18 links on my fully linked factory bracelet, I have to count the "moveable" link that attaches to the bracelet at 12:00. I'm not counting the "fixed" link on the 6:00 side of the bracelet, and obviously not counting the "fixed" links at the lugs. Does that sound like a fully linked bracelet, or am I missing one? Thanks
