Vanguard strap websiteordering issue

I’m wanting to purchase a Vanguard strap for a Tudor black bay 58 which I own but I’m having issues with the final page of the ordering site.

Has anyone else had this?

Basically the final page which requires card details is filled in , submitted and then comes back saying the payment isn’t authorised.

It’s then followed up with a email to confirm the payment wasn’t taken and then a email to say I have contents in my cart.

I’ve tried multiple cards and no luck. The credit card (MasterCard) is a card which is frequently used for purchases in foreign currency. I’m UK based.

Has anyone had similair ?

I’ve emailed Vanguard a few days ago and they replied wanting a screenshot but nothing since. Just to point out I’m not having a moan or criticism of Vanguard as he has responded to a couple of questions prior. Just hoping someone can point me in direction of being able to purchase one.

Thanks

call your bank. banks tend to randomly determine 'suspicious activity' and block spending in certain websites.

Thanks for replies

Cookies were cleared and I’ve tried on several devices.

I’ll try to call the bank but can’t imagine it will be that as the card is used quite a bit abroad. And I’ve tried 3 cards now from 2 different banks.

I’ll give it a few days and try again if not.

When I purchased a couple of weeks ago the payment page went through to another page for Mastercard's SecureCode(?) verification. It connects to your bank and I had to input a confirmation code sent to me through my bank's mobile app.

I've never even heard of this company. They make good products? On par with Everest and Rubber b?

Hi Chad! Vanguard straps are of pretty decent quality and I own a couple of them but Everest and Rubber B are the standard. If you are ordering for the BLNR make sure they give you the curved pins as the fit is extremely tight and the straight pins are hard to work with.

Yes I believe they are very nice quality on par with the others.

Just had a email from Vanguard to say it’s a issue at their end which they are working to rectify.

My CC got denied, but Paypal worked with them. They are in the middle east and it got flagged. I emailed the owner and he helped me out and got the band to me withing 3 days.

I have one on my BB ETA and love it. It transformed the watch and I wear it a lot more now. Looks great and is comfortable. When I paid I believe I used PayPal as well.

Your bank should be able to see the attempted transaction and the reason why it was rejected.

You've got to try the Rubber B at some point! Got a military green one, and man--I LOVE it! Unbelievable that it's just an aftermarket strap. Feels OEM through and through.
