Purchase New Datejust 26mm
I was contacted by an AD to purchase 2021 Datejust 26mm Oyster with the plain bezel. I am interested as this is my first Rolex and I am interested in a simple sport watch. However, I am wondering if this lower-priced model is considered a poor selection as it does not appear to be in much demand. Is this why the AD offered it to me because it is in low demand.

Anyway ... the 31mm is probably the most popular and a nice size for a small ladies wrist. But a lot of ladies are choosing 36mm nowadays, especially if you don't have a diminutive wrist. My partner has a 32mm Tudor and it looks comparative in size to my 40mm watches, on my wrist. She does have a tiny wrist The 'plain' bezel is a good choice if you want something more casual. Ladies Rolex are generally more available because they don't generally collect (or flip!) like men ..

Sorry I meant a Datejust 36 Oyster with plainbezel. I don't understand why I am being offered this watch over the phone by the AD. Is I because they are not in demand or not desireable?

They offered you because they want to sell it.
Nothing wrong with this watch, but not hyped like the regular Sub or GMT. Personally I like a fluted bezel on a DJ, that’s just me. 36 size is classic and will never go out of style, can’t go wrong there

36 mm models are easier to find and harder to sell in general than the 41 mm versions. My AD typically has several in the case.
They do look good |

Datejust 36 is still in demand for both women and men with smaller wrist. If you like it, go for it, blue dial is the most popular.

I have a 36mm DJ Turn-O-Graph that's in my regular rotation. I love the size and the way it feels on my wrist. My T-O-G has a fluted rotating white gold bezel, but the smooth bezels are very attractive too.

If you like it, tell them "only with a discount" and see what transacts from there.
