This photo is a repeat of my previous post above. No thanks to Photosugit.

Photo of my YMII etched crown. It's rather crummy but, taken on dinner table with no special lighting and a simple stand to hold the, folding plastic, case of eye-loupe mentioned below. Used a crude iPhone 6 in conjunction with a separate external Bausch & Lomb (4X 5X 9X eye-loupe) magnifier.

Also, there have been instances reported for dateless models where the LEC is not at 6:00.
Wow. Had never seen it on my 214270 and just assumed it didn’t have it. Just used this little trick and...mind blown.

Great suggestion. I finally found it. I tried to take a pic with iPhone 6 not much luck. It looks like a little smudge. I suppose these pics are with a macro lens

Yup, I can see it too.
Zooming in might get it clearer.

Cheers!

It’s the angle. The LEC is right on top of the 6 o’clock marker. I could only see it if I had the light at a flat angle across the crystal and angled the etching on top of the black part of the dial in line with my camera.

I am a new SubC Date owner and new to Rolex. I love these little nuggets, had no idea about the etchings. Here’s my iPhone X results.

Thanks for participating.
For some reasons I can't get to capture my Sub's LEC.

Will do this weekend.

Beautiful shots!

It is strange how faint the LEC is on my BLRO, no point trying to capture on phone camera, but it is visible to naked eye on my hulk.

I was told all Rolex made from 1999 should have them.

Will check from @Jocke one our in-house-guru.

Really hard to pick it up on the Daytona. I think I’m going to buy an inexpensive macro lense for my phone.. here’s my collection.

Is that the 2019 DJ?

Hey, won't stop you from buying a macro. But try again and catch it at a certain light, focus and angle.

Funny that, I am still struggling to get a good shot of my new Bluesy.

Thanks

Cheers
