Sub & Daytona or DD40 & Daytona?

2 watches in my collection. 116610LN (beater) and 116500LN (pristine). Do I sell beater sub, add cash, get yellow gold DD40 white dial roman numeral, and turn daytona into beater like Newman?

Yes.

But I like the idea of keeping the Sub and Daytona...saving up and buying the DD40.

You will love the DD40!!!

Do it. I feel any collection could always use a sub but you can always get a 126610 at some point. Daytona is a keeper (just for one and it’s a keeper) and DD is certainly an awesome addition. I would personally also consider a rose gold DD with olive green dial but that’s just me

I’d keep the sub and sell the Daytona, much less to add then to get the DD40

Keep both and buy pre-owned DD.

All of them are good to have.

Definitely add the DD. If you can try to keep the Sub. I feel that your Sub "beater" is still the best daily for many situations.

I love Subs (I own three) but I think DD/Daytona is an upgrade over Sub/Daytona. So yes....you'd be adding a lot of cash though.

Like this thread, unanimous.
I support the idea of waiting and keeping what you've got and adding the DD later though. Sub, Daytona and DD would be a great collection.
