I have a 16613 from 1990 should I change the insert or leave it for the vintage charm?? What you guy think I had some nice battle scars and if I change it more will come lol what a stressful hobby hahahah

I would only get it changed if it was recommended during interval service. No point changing it as it will just acquire “battle scars” again.

I’d find an AD or somewhere that will give you a new insert and let you keep the old one.

It's up to you, but if it was mine and the watch needed service I would do whatever it needed to make it look brand new.

I had mine just serviced at Rolex HQ and insisted on keeping all the Tritium parts. Something they were definitely sympathetic about.
Same for my 16713 which is with them now.
