Milgauss. I have the Z Blue. Its the only SS Rolex I have that feels a bit like a white gold watch. Its the heft from the cage I think.

Voted:116400GV ....If the choice was between the GV & 116622 then I would have voted the YM .

The YM for me. I like the bezel and style better.

Tough one but I think the Milgauss would get my vote. If it was the Rhodium YM I would say that would be the choice to go for.

I personally think the Milgauss looks better but the YM fits my wrist much better...and I like the blue :)
So for me, YM. |

I’ve come close to buying a blue dial yachtmaster on several occasions, but haven’t pulled the trigger in favor of pieces I wanted more at the time (116610 and 126600). It’s a phenomenal looking watch in person and hopefully I’ll add one to my collection in the future.

Milgauss all day every day.
And that "YachtMaster"? That is NOT the REAL YM. It's barely more than a Sub with a fat bezel. Nothing at all like the real YM. SO why does Rolex label them as YM? Duh.

That’s a tough one. I agree with the one of the above statements that neither are really sleepers.

Difficult decision, because I like a date complication, but the Milgauss w/ the z-blue dial is my pick.

Owners of the YM with slate dial...
If you recently purchased your watch, how easy (or not) was it to get? Thanks! |

I got mine last August when it was called rhodium. It was the first Rolex I had purchased with the AD and it didn't take long (I had spoken briefly about it a week before an appointment. We did have a good long meeting about my interests, my job etc and then at the end of that they brought it out ..

I don’t own one but saw one in the case a couple months back. Cool watches but I don’t think they have the typical wait of many watches these days.

Tried on a RG YM 40 on OF - became one of my favorite watches in the lineup.
Recently got a chance to try a TT RG YM40 - never realized how slim it is relative to my sub. Always thought they had a similar case. It fits really nice. Not a fan of polished lugs on the SS & not a blue dial guy - but I do like the SS slate version. Milgauss just fits too big / thick for my liking. |
