The Glidelock on my Subc is more useful, but in operation, a bit unrefined. The Glidelock on my DSSD is so much better to operate, in function, in execution. Should have been given a different name by Rolex. It's not even close vs the Sub GL. |

Yes, the easy link is by far my favorite.
The glide lock is too big, all you see is clasp. I find it also clumsy to use. Having to take the watch of your wrist to get that extra bit of space is not the smartest design either. Getting it right in one attempt never works for me. Cumbersome On my DSSD I like the glide lock+. Somehow it seems fitting on this over engineered watch. No problems adjusting this particular clasp.

I too prefer the EZ. The GL is useful in some circumstances but for daily use it is just a bit too bulky for me. Had the SD4K earlier and was not very comfortable with the case thickness and the bulky GL so the watch got sold. The only GL I like and need is the one on my DSSD.

Glide lock, unless you’re driving.

Easy link it great but its a hair width too much for me, always goes from slightly too tight to ever so slightly too big once opened.
The glide lock is perfect for me, albeit its more of a faff to take the watch off and implement. |

I much prefer the easy link. Glide lock clasp is just too large and awkward for my use and smaller wrist. When I've had them I hardly ever used them.

Don’t have a favourite as both work well.
However, I would like to see a mini glide lock added to Explorers, GMT’s and other SS Professional models, the bracelet clasp is big enough to take a mini glide lock and this would give greater flexibility when wearing the watch. Leave easy link on the classic range.

Deepsea Glidelock > Glidelock > EZLink.
Even with 19+cm wrist, the 5mm of EZLink as a % change is just too coarse. For women EZLink is like hitting the 'bangle' switch. Mini-GL looks like the way to go and should be standard. As superbly designed and made as it is, most will never need the full (dive kit) range of DSSD Glidelock +/- Fliplock. 5-10mm in 2mm increments in a small format = ideal for most. |

I also prefer the easylink in my YM to the glidelock of my Sub.
Easylink is easier to operate on the go, quicker, feels solid, love the clicking sound when it snaps into place, just the right amount of adjustment. It's perfect. Glidelock on the other hand feels delicate, fiddly, can't seem to get the right adjustment quickly as it takes a few tries to get there, makes the clasp unnecessarily large. It's overkill and cumbersome. Easylink all the way AFAIC. |

I have E-Z Link on all three watches, and use it everyday. In the morning when it is cool, or during winter while it's been cold the link is closed and keeps the bracelet just how I like it.
When it warms up during the day or in the summer when it is humid, I open up the E-Z Link, and the watches fit as they did before my wrist swelled. Great invention!!! |

My wrist never swells or contracts enough to warrant having to make on-the-fly adjustments, so once a watch is sized that's how it stays for me.
Obviously more adjustment rather than less is preferable when trying to get the perfect fit, so in that regard the GL is better, but I do also find it unnecessarily large. The EL clasp is much more elegant and, as I say, sizing a watch for me is a "one and done". |

I like both and appreciate the adjustment on the go. If I had to choose it would be the glidelock.

Anyone prefer easy link to glide lock?
My wrist changes in diameter every day “before and after exercise and with changing seasons so to me I’m fearing that the easy link would be catastrophic for me. The glide lock system is amazing.
Now that OP say the east link is enough, I think it’s good news because I’m hesitant to buy anything without the glide lock. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I use easy link a lot, it’s everything I need normally.
Glide lock has enough adjustment that my wife can wear the watch also.

Easy link all day every day for me. The Glide lock is too long of a clasp and too thick IMO.

I prefer Easylink because it’s less metal and lower profile. Less clunk on the wrist. It’s just the right amount for me when I’m wanting a snug fit or medium fit. I’m borderline too thick for OP41 bracelet at 7.5 inch wrist.

I prefer the easy link because as others have said, the Glidelocks are big, bulky and can be uncomfortable. What you gain in adjustment I find you lose in overall comfort.
That said, the strange thing is, I never ever have to adjust my 5 digit references with the older stamped bracelets ever. They just fit, summer, winter, warm, cold. For some reason, the 6 digits I was always futzing with, they were either just a little too big or too small. One of the many reasons why I only have one newer reference left in the collection. Rolex can give us a mini glide lock just like the YatchMaster 42, shorter clasp with a glide lock. But they won’t .....

I don’t have experience with the guidelock. However, the easy link really works for me. Perfect fit and I like how I can pop it open without opening the clasp

Glidelock. If my 519LN had it, it could be the perfect watch.

Mini glidelock from the rose YM40 is the best clasp I've ever experienced. I'd take that on all my watches.
Easylink is useless to me. 5mm is too much. Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk |

I have a DJ41, BLNR, and DSSD. I must say I am still trying to find my sweet spot. I like glidlock better as I feel like it goes down to increments that fits better, meanwhile easy link I can almost say I extend it by the end of the day everytime I wear my DJ or BLNR. I've tried to mess around with different configurations but I always try to keep the clasp centred as much as possible. In conclusion, glidelock > easy link.
Does anyone else feel like you fidget with any extenders too much? (atleast once every time you wear the watch) |

I prefer the functionality of glidelock but I prefer the size of the easylink clasps. Easylink gets the job done for most situations.

I agree that the mini GL on my Everose YM is the best of the 3. The GL on my sub is useful for that watch and the bulk doesn’t really become a factor. The Easylink on my SS YM is OK, but as mentioned above the 5mm for me isn’t ideal...

My preference would be glidelock system with half the range built into a smaller clasp. The Ezlink clasps (blnr, daytona, YM, Ex1, etc) are the perfect size for me and much more comfortable than the much bigger and longer glidelock. Glide lock built into that clasp would be amazing.
