Go with the dial diamonds and fluted bezel. You get the same look minus 15k

Rolex's diamond bezels are beautifully done, the quality of diamonds are extremely nice and they have great cuts, giving the bezel a definite sparkle that you can enjoy if you like diamond sparkles. So is it worth it? Absolutely if you ask me. (My wife's 31mm datejust has the diamond bezel, and that was the best decision to spend the extra and get her that one.)

But is diamond bezel for you? that you can only answer. For me, on my wrist, no diamonds. But I appreciate and encourage personal choices regardless of what others say.

If diamonds on the dial, diamond bezel fits. Not a big fan of diamonds though

Diamond bezel for me. If you like the diamond hour markers and funds allow, commit to the full look. Both are fantastic and would be a grail to me!

I have the grey dial, diamond markers only. If you’ve never seen it in person, I’d suggest trying to do so before pulling the trigger on the diamond bezel. The bezel blings hard even just fluted, and diamonds were way too much for my taste. YMMV.

I was offered twice on this model, it's very beautiful timepiece.

For men, plain fluted bezel would looks better.

For women this is the best looking timepiece.

I wish they have YG D-D green dial with baguette hour markers on 40mm.

I like the fluted bezel more out of your two choices, but Rolex does amazing stone work. If I was going to do big stones, I'd go Day Date TEM but that is not in the budge for me at $400k lol. For the >$50k Day Date my ideal would be the WG Meteorite Dial, WG Olive Sunburst, or RG Olive Sunburst. Also really like the WG Blue Sunburst, YG Champagne, YG Black dial versions. I'd go Day Date 40 over 36 with my larger wrist, but both versions are amazing and I'd wear either.

Tough to go wrong with any Day Date and lots of dial/bezel combos to get what you prefer. I think you'll be happy with whatever you go with. Congrats in advance

Check out Connor Mcgregors Instagram. He has this watch with factory diamond bezel and bracelet. I think it looks great but I don’t feel rock star enough to pull it off.

Not a fan of the bezel, probably because of how many shitty aftermarket diamond bezels are out there giving the real thing a bad name, lol. As a non-diamond guy, I want to dislike the first one, but I just can’t, given how beautifully done it is, and that color!

I would go for the fluted bezel But if you are seeking this option based on the dial color I would search for the discontinued 36mm DD that had a green dial with no diamonds. Very Sharp looking watch. I think 2018 was the last year of it

You rapper/athlete with slim wrists and don't mind people laughing behind your back, get the diamonds. If not, get the basic green dial version 40mm

Having those diamonds on the bezel can attract undo attention and get your wrist broken by some who wants what you got! Especially in the city.
