Agreed.....my wife at 5'4" wears her newly acquired DJ 116200 36mm (white roman dial with Oyster bracelet.....which looks gorgeous on her) and loves wearing my Breitling and SubC. She hasn't warmed up to my Omega PO:-).

The look of a large diameter timepiece on a woman is not just a fade, but a lovely style imho.

Nothing wrong with it. I'm 5'2" & love wearing my DJ & my Sub. :-) I did find the maxi cases of either ceramic Sub too square & heavy so I opted for the 14060. Its lighter and slightly smaller than the date version. There was one for sale recently in the TRF sale section. If not, email some sellers & see if they can locate one for you if you go this route..

My wife wore a ladies watch for years, about 28-31 mm
Now she wears a date just 36mm
No offence to the + 75's out there but the ladies watches should be labeled "little old lady" size watch and the rest, well........."sexy as hell" size.

Also wanted to add, Hirsh Straps ( as I'm on their site now) has some really nice coloured leather straps (as well as rubber ) if you want to feminize (is that a word? LOL) the watch.

:-)

The trend these days for oversize watches on women. Personally, I think a vintage sports watch (think Sub, GMT, Daytona, etc.) on a woman is attractive. Because the newer models are bigger, I think a vintage watch with its thinner case looks more balanced on women.

She's beautiful. But I've yet to meet the woman who likes having their weight broadcast. Take cover, my friend!

I'm sure that was IQ and not weight.

My wife and I were playing around with watches the other night and she tried on my Sd43. She's 5'5" 115 lbs with a 5.5"wrist.

Far too larger for her but she has often commented on wearing my 114060

I just don't care for it if the lugs are hanging way over the wrist and the watch is worn too loose & flopping around all over the place. That's just me though :/
Either way, it is definitely not strange to see a lady wearing a men's sized model Rolex these days. If she's comfortable with it and loves the look, then it's time to enjoy that Sub We ladies are lucky that men's watches are considered unisex today

Our Sub Date on my wrist ;) I haven't been brave enough to wear it yet, but hopefully soon. I'm still only wearing my 31mm DJ. Waiting on a 36mm DJ that I'll hopefully be comfortable to wear. More watches for the husband, means more for me as his watches fit me close enough
I totally agree that men’s watches are considered unisex these days! I don’t think this is trend .... women wanting to wear larger watches is an evolution !

I am totally against women wearing SS Daytonas. We don’t need any additional competition in sourcing them!

My wife is petite. She wears a 34mm Oyster Perpetaul. It's a tad big on her but looks sporty and cool. Heck, I wore a 34mm Air-King for years as a daily a while ago.

My wife who is about 100 lbs soaking wet, wears a full size Cartier Ballon Bleu. She digs and it wears nicely on her. I have to agree with the above a good looking lady can pull off just about anything..... best part is, she hates Rolex watches so never have to worry about her wearing mine

I prefer smaller, more subtle watches on women. But to each his/her own
