Baselworld most likely... I'd say absolutely if I got to take one of the new watches home as a souvenir. The only exception would be if the Cowboys were in the Super Bowl.

Basel. Besides the event itself, the food and atmosphere in Switzerland appeals to me more.

Besides, I want to hang out with a Jocke

Actually, I was hoping choice #2 was a SS watch at retail.

Superbowl is what we Yanks call Football. A bit more rugged game than your football.

I am a New England Patriots season ticket holder, going to the Super Bowl is getting old. I'll take the trip to Basel with Rolex and go back to the Super Bowl the year after.

Game 7 Stanley Cup finals (because the other 3 choices are slow and boring).

Super bowl>Basel>>>>World Cup. No idea why anyone would compare soccer to a real man’s sport like football ;)

Neither of them.
Super what? I’m not American so have no interest in NFL. Rugby is far more interesting.
World Cup, depends on which nation are in the finals. Too many pansies rolling on pitch crying if get they get tapped on the knee.

Baselworld, heard the show is a bit crap for jo public.

I’ll have a VIP pass to an F1 event but must be at Monaco, Singapore, Melbourne, Monza, Suzuka or Abu Dhabi.

World Cup without a doubt. The other two options wouldn't even get a moment's thought.

I enjoyed NFL football before it became political. Not really a soccer fan. Basel for me.

Met Roger Staubach at the Superbowl one year. That satisfied the football bucketlist item for me.

So now hang out in Switzerland, or another football stadium in the U.S. ?
Switzerland please...

P.S. -- What's the coolest watch store in Switzerland to check out should one decide to go? For that matter THE WIS mecca in the world, in your opinion would be an interesting Thread....

I'll take the Basel trip. I could spend a couple of hours looking at watches and then spend the rest of the time enjoying the Swiss Alps.

I wouldn’t go to the Super Bowl, World Cup, or any other ball sports event if they PAID me to (women’s beach volleyball being the exception), so Basel for sure.

Having only ever been to 1 American Football game ever in my life (Sooners vs Long horns last year in Dallas, awesome doesn't even go there for me), if thats anything to compare with a Super Bowl. I would have to go with Super Bowl

And thats as a Brit.

Was bigger than Ben Hur as they used to say. Didn't have a clue what was going on, but atmosphere was electric.

this for me ^

brands are pulling out of basel every year it feels like; I wouldn't surprise me if rolex pulled out one of these years either, and then it's all over. there's little that appeals to me about going to basel--I'd much rather visit a few release events at individual brands, which seems to be a growing trend.

If I were able to buy whatever I wanted on the spot, I'd rather go to Basel. If not, then the Superbowl.
