London GTG (and Salon QP) Saturday 8th November

WooHoo!!

It's that time of year again guys and to tie in with Salon QP http://www.salonqp.com/ we'll be meeting for the usual "watch, food'n beer fest" on Saturday 8th November.

Unfortunately though I have a prior commitment during the day (West Ham vs. Aston Villa and I promised my youngest that we wouldn't miss a home game this season!) so I can't make QP, but I'll be joining you all at The Dickens (or wherever you might be?) straight after the footy.

I'll be staying at The Tower http://www.guoman.com/en/hotels/unit...wer/index.html as I already know that Paul (BH13GMT) will be also, and I'm hoping many others will be staying there too.

As we won't be at The Dickens for best part of the day I don't usually reserve an area there for the 'Winter GTG', but please let me know if you'd rather I did and of course, I'll be happy to do so.

I'd suggest The Mala http://malarestaurant.com/ for dinner again, (about 7.30/8.00-ish?) but again please let me know your thoughts.

Sorry I can't make QP this year guys but I'm sure you all know the drill by now and please rest assured that I'll catch up with you all just as soon as I can.

So....
Please let me know who's still gonna be around for dinner and I'll get the reservation made.

Thanks Chaps, and as always "looking forward to this already!"

If you recall, we have a twenty quid bet that I'll still have the SD4000. I am a reformed man nowadays.

Steady on guys, as we all know there is no finer introduction to British chocolate than the unsurpassable Malteser.

Great to see there'll be plenty of us attending again, good on ya guys....

I've booked a table for eight at The Mala at 8.00pm and we can always fine-tune that closer to the time.

That's what you said the last time we got together for lunch. Can't say I believed you then, and I still don't.

Sorry I can't make the GTG, Dan. We don't come across the pond again till February.
