After buying a vehicle from my local srt and dodge ram dealer I was shooting it with the gm and the demon came up. He said there are only 3k but 3.6k srt dealers meaning 600 won't get a demon. He then told me the owner, if allowed one, would mark it up 100k. I said that was ridiculous for a straight line car meant for dragging but he pointed out if you built a car like that it would be very expensive. In any event the whole ordeal reminded me of how I dislike car dealerships and the typical buying process. I did get a free water and chips.

I was going to buy a trd pro 4 runner. Toyota waldorf advertised it for 40.7k. Then we get down to brass tacks and its"its a 48k truck"...

The GM is telling you the car won't be for sale unless someone pays beyond crazy money. The dealer owner wants to keep it for himself.

No one will pay $100k over for a Demon--give me a break. If anyone paid $1 (that's one dollar) over they will lose their shorts LOL.

Allowed and do are two completely different things. There was just a thread on a guy who asked a Hong Kong ad and he had 3 but were priced way above msrp.

That's silly. I got a bout 1k under MSRP on mine last spring.

Same thing was going on with the GT350 and especially the GT350R. Dealers ares till getting adm depending on location.
