I really want a BLRO

I wonder how long I’ll have to wait. Grey market is out, in part as I want my name on the warranty card.

I miss the old days where every AD has every watch.

Regretably, be prepared for a multiyear wait list.

Prices dropping fast in the gray market. Wait a little longer and you will be able to pick on up for a decent price. Still a little premium probably but nowhere near the initial asking $20.

Wait until it reaches around $12-13k.

126710 is by far the most comfortable rolex i have.
It has presence yet you barely feel its there.

I received "the call" to pick up a BLRO at my AD a couple weeks ago but, after seeing the watch in person, decided to pass on it. The next guy on the list was very happy!

You can still get your name on the card with a TS.

Yes, hang in there. I picked mine up last week. Just try to get your name on a list. It's worth the wait for sure.

This makes sense to me - my personal view is pay what a watch is worth to you , rather than being obsessed with “no more than MSRP “

I’d likely stretch to 14k....but it’s been a heavy (excessive, actually) watch buying year for me, so I have no concerns about waiting 6-12 months

No chance to get one from AD.
As mentioned by others, if its worth it to you then grey is the way to go.

Huge respect for doing the right thing

Most on here would have taken the watch and flipped it, so huge credit to you for letting the next person have it at MRSP

Quite a few watches in the 16s now on Chrono24 and WatchRecon. Will be 15K by Christmas

Yes I noticed that yesterday. Heaps on Chrono in the $16k range now.

I'm quite close with a few gray dealers in Asia. These are selling for mid $15s will be $14s very very soon. They arent even moving fast in the $15k range.

Paying what it's worth makes sense.

However I bought a 116700 nine years ago for £3650 (no sales tax). It is very similar, just a different colour, different bracelet and an updated movement.

We can all see what these features are worth on other models by changing the options on other models.

So what it is worth to me is not the grey market price.

Everyone take a breath. We are being taken, and we are helping.

Yes. The premium goes towards more than the instant gratification and time. It’s also towards the ability to move on and not deal with AD games.

And some would have to admit that the hype is somehow part of the excitement. It’s like when you see a “Do not touch” sign, and you really want to touch.

Usual gray dealer margin is minimum 10% for any watch. Maybe less for watches above $25k or so but usually for SS models Grays will need to make at least 10% profit from the price they buy vs the price they sell.

If they are selling for $15k grays would be buying these around the $12-13k mark.

The Paul Newman Daytona craze is over. Current pricing isn’t going to last much longer. Give it 6-12 months. BLRO will hover around 11-12k, perhaps lower

From all the incomings I believe it will be easier to get one than skyD or Daytona for sure! Might even be easier than the LVc as well

For what it’s worth you can get your name on the warranty card if you order through a grey, I got mine when I picked up my latest watch from DavidSW.
