Batgirl or Hulk

Hey TRF.. I can’t find a thread like this so thought I’d give it a shot.

What do you think personally? Batgirl or Hulk?

What looks better? What retains value better? What’s harder to get?

People are rumoring that “hulk” will he discontinued; batgirl just came out with a new movement

Hmmmm...

Also would you trade batgirl for hulk plus cash?

To the REAL watch guys - I’m sorry about the whole “Batgirl” thing I guess it’s out of everyone’s control lol I mean 126710BLNR

Hulk is a great watch, go for it. No idea what the other one you're talking about is.

Since it seems you already have the LN, the BLNR seems like overkill. I have the Hulk and the LN, and absolutely love both. Hulk is probably my personal favorite between the two, but the LN is far more versatile. Given the redundancy in your collection, I would go Hulk 100%.

Cheers - it is more expensive though, if I was to do the deal he’d want my GMT BLNR and cash on top probably 1500-2k CAD.

I already overpaid for the GMT by about 4500 CAD (3400usd)

Same guy two days later got this one in.

I can't speak on the Canadian market, but market price is market price. I would buy the one you like the most. After all, we buy these things to enjoy and wear.

I have a Hulk and will never part with it. Everything there is to love about the subC (glidelock, brushed links, built like a tank) but the green adds a touch of differentiation from the sea of black SubC’s out in the wild

I've never liked the BLNR and I love the LV. So the choice was easy for me.

Value retention? I don't care.

Discontinuation? As above. I've got my Hulk so Rolex can do as they please.

If we get a Coke GMT the Batgirl will be hit hard. Even now it has two formidable competitors in Pepsi and TT CHNR. If you’re thinking investment, and future it’s Hulk. If it’s looks and presence on your wrist it’s also Hulk.

I find the GMT 126710 BLNR more interesting than the green Sub, also more versatile.

BLNR over Hulk for the versatility, but if Coke is released it's all over. For me personally,

Coke>Pepsi>Batman>Hulk

To answer your question BLNR + cash for a Hulk? That's only something you can decide, but I'd say you better act quick with the BLNR prices falling. Personally, I don't like the Hulk enough to do that deal, but I wouldn't put anything over $500 on it if I did like it.

The 126710BLNR is way more versatile and IMHO looks better than the 116610LV, but because you already own a 116710LN, the Hulk makes more sense.

All else aside, I prefer the LV Sub. The classic Sub look with a modern twist and unmistakable dial. One of the best of the past decade in my opinion.

They’re both great watches. Personally, I went for the 116710BLNR. Get the one that speaks to you. You could always trade one for the other down the road.

The GMT is leaps and bounds more versatile; the hulk is still alluring as a quirky watch though. I wish there was a ND variant honestly.

GMT has more function (aside from being submerged to more than 100 meters) , if that's your personal measure of a watch, or one of them.

Both are fantastic, highly desired watches. Go with whatever you will enjoy wearing more, though owning both would be the best LOL.

I simultaneously had a 116710BLNR (Batman) and a Hulk. The BLNR has been gone since September and I haven't missed it once. I don't see myself ever parting with my Hulk.
